What a fantastic a beautifully adapted animal. This ferocious desert predator is not only fast but ornately patterned as well. Earning its name from the black spots that cover its body and yellowish colored stripes that cross down its back. Leopard lizards feed primarily on other lizards that are small enough to fit in its mouth.
